Flight Camp: More then a discovery flight!

Harv’s Air St Andrews will be hosting a “Flight Camp” from August 23th to 27th from (8am to 4pm). It is a week long camp where you will complete the first several flying lessons along with ground school towards passing the first of the written exams (PSTAR). The camp is good for individuals who are interested in flying and would like more then just a discovery flight, and also for students considering the Aviation Management Course at Red River College.

Approximate Cost:
Flight Kit $325
20 hours Ground Instruction $700
PSTAR Writing Fee $35
7 hours dual Instruction $1150
Tax $100
TOTAL $2310

Requirements Prior to Beginning Camp:

* Complete at Minimum a Category 4 Medical (can be obtained by your family doctor--cost is set by doctor). A Category 1 or 3 medical from a Civil Aviation Medical Examiner can also be done (requires 5-6 weeks to receive, cost average is $150)
* Provide Proof of Citizenship (Birth Certificate or Passport)
* Study for the PSTAR exam. This exam will be written by the end of the week and you need 90% to pass. To study, go to:
